Lithium Batteries

Benefits

Lithium batteries for forklifts are a very important part of the shift towards greener, more efficient energy solutions for businesses using battery operated forklifts. They charge very quickly, are low maintenance, safer than lead-acid batteries as well as lasting longer.

Of the many advantages offered by using Lithium batteries, the following benefits are regarded by industrial users as the most important to consider when transitioning to the use of Lithium batteries.

Productivity

Consistantly high voltage and opportunistic charging provide your forklifts with better performance and less charging downtime.

Reduced Downtime

Lithium-ion batteries last as much as four times longer than lead-acid batteries. Swapping out batteries will become a thing of the past as Lithium-ion batteries charge faster and last longer.

Very low Maintenance

Lithium forklift batteries use sealed cells that don’t require constant watering, equalizing, or cleaning. These batteries are virtually maintenance-free and will reduce both labour costs and downtime.

Faster Charging

With charging times as much as eight times that of lead-acid batteries, Lithium batteries pay for themselves in time saved. Operators will have the ability to charge the battery during their breaks throughout the day.
